AVIATION SECURITY
The Aviation Security (AVSEC) Course focuses on training and developing personnel to have knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to take care and maintain the security of passengers, aircraft and airport areas from various threats such as terrorism, smuggling of prohibited items into restricted areas of the airport or violations of aviation security regulations to prevent civil aviation from unlawful interference.
Aviation Security Training Course for Screener
This course is designed to enable personnel performing duties on the aviation security operations on screening people, baggage, vehicles, including X-ray diagnosis of cargo and mails to have knowledge and understanding on the matter of laws, regulations, rules and requirements on civil aviation security at both national and international levels. Trainees will be developed on the attitudes, knowledge, skills and experience necessary for performing their duties as the screeners correctly and efficiently, as well as qualifications in applying for a “Screener Certificate” from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).
